In pursuit of its service towards society and to duly fulfil its laid down corporate social responsibility, Kanodia Group, one of the leading industrial conglomerates in the country, has taken a new initiative. The Group, to encourage young and brilliant students, would honour high-scoring children, who have scored well in the state board examinations, with a cash prize.
This award, initiated by Kanodia Group, is named after Ashok Kanodia, the late father of Vishal and Gautam Kanodia. He explained that the company would provide such scholarships annually to meritorious and underprivileged students of this school to motivate them. The school selected for this award is Maharaja Agrasen Inter College, Deoria, Uttar Pradesh. Vishal Kanodia and Gautam Kanodia, founders of Kanodia Group are alumni of the same school.
Gopal Datt Shukla, Principal of Maharaja Agrasen Inter College, informed that in the year 2023, Kanodia Group awarded cash prize and a certificate of recognition to the top three students who passed the Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (UPBSE) examinations. The esteemed students are Kishan Yadav (Father’s Name: Dhunmun Yadav), Akarsh Goyal (Father’s Name: Vivek Goyal), and Durgesh Tiwari (Father’s Name: Jay Prakash Tiwari).
“Vishal and Gautam Kanoda are now renowned industrialists in the country and in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The entire school extends its gratitude to Kanodia Group and acknowledges their visionary thinking in encouraging our students,” he said.
