Do you remember those times when you were hooked to DID Little Masters? When you won’t move from the television screen to watch children from every corner of the country coming with dreams in their eyes and rhythm in their feet. Among the many bright stars who lit up that stage, there was one little girl, Preesha Gupta. Back then, she was just a contestant on the show, but today, she has etched her name on various platforms. With her dancing skills, she has broken world records that even professional dancers hesitate to attempt.
Preesha is earning fame from all over the world with her jaw-dropping moves like AirFlares, Hand AirFlares and Diamond AirFlares. Moves that many international dancers struggle to master, and yet, Preesha, with her dedication, has performed them flawlessly enough to set world records. On top of that, she’s also entered the India Book of Records for maximum airflips and proved that the sky is the only limit.
The weight of battles
We only see success on the surface, but we never go in-depth to understand the hardships that shape a person’s journey to the top. Every story has its share of challenges. Preesha wasn’t always the invincible dancer we see today. At an age when children were worrying about school exams, she was fighting with her health. She went through brain fever, surgeries and even a tumour. While these challenges could have easily stopped her from pursuing her dream, Preesha didn’t know how to give up.
When she made a comeback, it was a roar. Preesha didn’t stop after earning early recognition from ‘Zee TV’s DID Little Masters’ and Shakti Mohan’s show ‘Dance with Me’; she explored different stages and platforms to share her talent with the world. She featured in music videos like ‘Dilli Wali Baatcheet’ with Raftaar and ‘17 Saal’ with Pranjal Dahiya and Renuka Panwar.
Recently, she also became a part of Red Bull’s international program ‘Under My Wings’. She proved that achievements are not about names or winning trophies, but about learning from experiences and overcoming obstacles.
Lessons from her journey
We all have heard that obstacles don’t end dreams, they shape them. Preesha is a living example of that. Her struggles with health could have easily ended her journey even before it began, but instead, they gave her the fire to push harder.
When she steps on stage now, she doesn’t just dance for herself but for every child sitting at home who feels life has been unfair. She dances for those who’ve been told they can’t.
Plans ahead
The world is evolving and, with it, every artist needs to evolve too. You can’t just stop at one point and stay there. Preesha believes in growing with every stage of her journey. Now, she focuses on taking her dancing skills to an even bigger platform. She dreams of representing India at the Youth Olympics, Asian Games and Red Bull international events.
But whether or not she stands at the Olympic podium, her story already shines brighter than any medal. True victories are always about winning against the odds life throws at you.
Preesha’s journey reminds us all that passion can outshine pain if you decide to fight back. So, the next time you feel defeated, remember that it’s just a phase. Hold on, stay calm, keep fighting, and bounce back with a roar.
