AceHack 5.0 at UEM Jaipur Sets New Benchmark for Student-Led Hackathons

One of Rajasthan’s biggest student-driven tech event was AceHack 5.0, a 36-hour national hackathon that took place at the University of Engineering and Management (UEMJ)

The hackathon, which was held in official collaboration with Major League Hacking (MLH), offered access to an international hacker ecosystem, global exposure, and mentorship.

Over 3K people registered for AceHack 5.0, and over 500 people were shortlisted to compete in person. Along with a representation from all around India, participants came from major cities like Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chennai, and Jaipur.

The event was attended by students from top colleges like IITs, IIIT and NITs, highlighting its national outreach and prestige.

Participants in the hackathon created more than 150 creative projects in a variety of fields, including cloud computing, open innovation, blockchain, cybersecurity, IoT, AR/VR, and AI.

In addition to expert-led sessions like GitHub Copilot seminars and Google AI sessions, the hackathon featured over 25 mentors and judges, giving participants invaluable industry experience.

Leading tech companies including Gemini, GitHub, Microsoft, Base44 ,Redhat, Algorand Bharat, Vultr, and Vercel backed AceHack 5.0. Industry experts from companies like Sony, Deloitte, Swiggy, and Lenskart made contributions through engagement and mentoring.

With constant coding, networking opportunities, interactive seminars, a DJ night, and midnight challenges, the event maintained a high level of enthusiasm throughout.

The top 30 teams received awards for their technical innovation. AceHack is still a powerful tool for encouraging innovation, teamwork, and the expansion of the student development community.
