Why Does Your Name and Birth Date Matter More Than You Think?

Magazine Stories

You can find numbers anywhere, be it birthdates, phone numbers, bank accounts, or even the milestones we celebrate. All these dates surround us. But what if these numbers hold more than just mathematical value? What if these numbers help you understand your destiny?

In a candid and extremely insightful conversation with leading numerologist Ashutosh Ahuja, he shared all about the world of numerology. He explained the significance of numbers in our lives and also gave practical insights into how numbers influence wealth, health, relationships, career, and much more.

His entry into the world of Numerology

Ashutosh explored numerology due to both his destiny and personal curiosity. He revealed that his interest in spiritual sciences was influenced by his father, who knew tantra, mantra, yantra, astrology, and numerology.

“I started exploring spirituality in 2014. When I analysed my own life data, I realised it was my year of Ketu, a planet that naturally inclines one toward spirituality. That was my first clue that I was meant to work in this field,” Ashutosh explained.

By 2015, after completing foundational studies and professional courses, Ashutosh formally launched his numerology practice in 2019. At that time, awareness about numerology was quite limited, especially regarding the impact of name corrections and mobile numbers. Following the 2020 pandemic, numerology experienced a significant surge in popularity. Today, Ashutosh has provided consultations to over 10,000 clients globally, including in Canada and Australia.

Understanding Mulank and Bhagyank

Numerology revolves around two key numbers: Mulank and Bhagyank.

Mulank: This is derived from the day of birth. As Ashutosh explains, Mulank has a 100% influence on our lives. For example, if someone is born on the 24th, then as per Mulank, combining 2 + 4 gives 6, which is ruled by Venus.

Bhagyank: Bhagyank is calculated from the full date of birth (day + month + year). This number influences life by about 80%. For instance, a total sum of 27 would reduce to 2 + 7 = 9, which would then guide certain life patterns.

“Mulank represents core personality traits, while Bhagyank influences luck and life events. Sometimes, these numbers can be ‘anti,’ meaning they conflict with each other, leading to struggles in health, relationships, or career,” Ashutosh explained.

For example, if a person’s Mulank is 6 (Venus) and Bhagyank is 3 (Jupiter), the energies of Venus and Jupiter may conflict, which creates challenges that require careful analysis and guidance.

Name and mobile numbers are important

Ashutosh also emphasises that in today’s digital age, names and mobile numbers are more influential than birth dates, as they are constantly in use and affect everyday energy vibrations.

“Every alphabet has a number. When a name is aligned with your Mulank and Bhagyank, it amplifies positive energy. Mobile numbers act the same way. As they stay with you constantly, their vibrations influence your life directly,” he explained.

He also warned against DIY numerology or using online calculators. “Many clients make small changes to their names, thinking it won’t matter,” warns Ashutosh. “Sometimes, even removing a single letter can lead to setbacks in career or health. Always consult an expert before making adjustments.”

Why numerology matters today

“Numbers are not magic but tools. If used thoughtfully, they bring clarity, confidence, and balance,” Ashutosh explains. From guiding career choices to improving relationships, understanding the numbers can help people make informed decisions surrounding their lives.

When numerology is applied intelligently, it can be a transformative guide and can help navigate life’s uncertainties with precision and insight.

The balance of effort and guidance

The conversation with Ashutosh Ahuja makes us realise that numerology is not about shortcuts or magic; it is a tool for understanding oneself and optimising life’s opportunities.

Whether it is the choice of a phone number, the spelling of a name, or understanding your Mulank and Bhagyank, numerology provides you with a roadmap for better decision-making. But as Ashutosh wisely pointed out, knowledge must be paired with action.

“Positive traits alone are not enough,” he said. “If we ignore challenges, we won’t grow. “It’s important to recognise weaknesses, follow remedies and put effort as this is what brings real results.”

Quick Takeaways

  1. Mulank is all about personality traits, while Bhagyank influences life events.
  2. Names and numbers in daily life influence modern decisions more than ever.
  3. Remedies work only when combined with consistent effort.
  4. Compatibility of numbers matters in love, partnerships, and professional relations.
  5. The letters in your name affect your energy and outcomes. Even small changes can make a difference.
