In a bid to nurture the seeds of innovation and foster a culture of creativity, the esteemed Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has once again taken the lead with its 5th edition of the Young Innovators Program. The Young Innovators Program is an annual flagship school outreach program organized by the Students’ Branding and Relations Cell, IIT Kharagpur which aims to foster young minds with scientific enthusiasm and aims to solve the problems facing the globe.
The event is conducted in three rounds and is Open to students of 8th to 12th standard, registration for the first round began on 14th Nov 2023 and ended on 24th Dec 2023. Teams Qualifying for this round are invited for a three-day visit to IIT Kharagpur from 30th Jan 2024 to 1st Feb 2024 for the final rounds.
During the visit, students will get a chance to explore the scientific environment of the Institute and an opportunity to present their projects in front of distinguished Professors. The Young Innovators Program (YIP) provides a host of advantages for its participants, Organizing Campus tours, and various Guest Lectures that foster an environment that promotes creativity, collaboration, and personal growth.
