“Creativity is the foundation on which innovation relies.” This line summarises the entrepreneurial journey of Aruna Budhiraja. Since her childhood days, Aruna has had an extremely creative bent of mind, always visualising things from a different perspective.
Her passion to learn and zeal to excel made her a certified fashion designer and later a Scientific Vastu consultant. But we all know ‘Life is what happens when we are busy making other plans.’ At the age of 42, the entrepreneurial bug bit Aruna which led to the inception of Kreative Konsultants in 2007.
Aruna walked on the path of entrepreneurship with a meagre sum of Rs 5000. She faced quite a few challenges, be it sample development or finding the right source. As she started out, she had to pay more to manufacturers, thereby making it very difficult for Aruna to manage her finances. “To overcome that, I started with a limited catalogue and offered only a limited range while keeping the quality intact.” Another major hurdle was the issue of payment delays. To solve this, she shifted her focus to IT companies and BPOs that had a more fixed and transparent payment system. ‘The journey has been very challenging so far but I loved every bit of it,’ grins Aruna.
A Big Shot Company
What started as a firm offering small tabletop gifts is today manufacturing a plethora of Corporate and Promotional gift options. Kreative Konsultants offers a tailored catalogue for its clientele – including trophies, writing instruments, notebooks and organisers, with options to customise products with the client’s company logo. The firm also offers customised t-shirts, caps and merchandise, along with branded smart wearables, home appliances, and tech products.
Trust is the cornerstone behind a company’s success and Aruna has sewed it to all intents and purposes. “My entire venture is based on the trust which I have garnered over the years,” asserts Aruna. Delivering top-notch services while also strictly adhering to the timelines promised to the clients, Aruna along with her team is maintaining a strong reputation in the market. Walking the extra mile each day to cater to the client’s needs has always set Aruna’s firm apart from other vendors.

And that’s what keeps Aruna ahead of others. “Learning has always been a part of my life. I try to keep myself updated by keeping a beady eye on the latest products in the market.” As Aruna always carries a passion for learning, she never ceases to amaze others with her creativity and grow at a fast pace.
While emphasising the importance of learning, Aruna also advises other women to “Never give up on learning and always begin the day with optimism and nights with a dream in the eyes.’ She believes, “To achieve something in life, one should always be open to learning. Ethicality and commitment towards work surely lead to success.”
