Pearl is the annual national cultural fest of BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus. Incepted in 2009 as an intra-college festival, a year after the foundation of BITS Pilani, Hyderabad, the fest grew into a national-level college cultural fest with participation from more than 50 colleges across India. Pearl ’24, starting from the 28th of March to the 31st of March, hosts a variety of cultural events and competitions which include music, dance, literary, photography and quizzing.
The fest also hosts talks and pro-shows with celebrities and bands of national and international renown appearing and/or performing during the fest since its inception. We shall be hosting versatile and renowned singer Shreya Ghoshal, Sunidhi Chauhan, Desi Hip Hop sensation Kr$na and our very own rockstar Nucleya for this PEARL’ 24. This year’s “Streets of Hyderabad” theme is just one more reason to look forward to the annual cultural fest that we know and adore.
Lineup of Flagship Events
Pearl ’24 proudly boasts an impressive lineup of flagship events, such as ‘Till Deaf Do We Part’, ‘Glitterati’,’ Terpsichore,’ ‘Colosseum’, ‘Nukkad Natak’ and many more. These events serve as a magnet for participants from diverse corners of the country, weaving a tapestry of cultural richness. The festival spans a rich spectrum of activities, ranging from insightful talks by esteemed personalities to enthralling performances by celebrated artists.
In the past, we’ve had the privilege of hosting renowned artists such as Farhan Akhtar, Kenny Sebastian, Armaan Malik, Amit Trivedi, Sanam, and many others, all of whom have left an indelible mark on our audiences. With an average footfall of 25k which keeps increasing each year, PEARL has become the most awaited fest among students not only in colleges but also in schools, courtesy to Embryo, a non-profit organization which invites remarkable personalities that have excelled in their respective fields for giving motivational talks and empowering the youth of the nation.
Pearl ’24 aims to become the largest fest in South India with well-renowned artists such as Shreya Ghoshal, Sunidhi Chauhan, Kr$na, Nucleya and more performing in it.
