THE MAN BEHIND THE THOUGHT

Jaison Abey Sabu is the mind behind Edurupt. He has over 15+ years of experience leading distributed, multicultural & cross-functional teams in software and technology companies based out of India, the US, and Europe. He is intrigued by how technology is transforming the world and therefore, believes in propagating technology and education for the betterment of society. 

After completing his graduation in Computer Science & Engineering in India, he felt that the curriculum and the syllabus are practically outdated and needed a change. With the vision of making skill-based education accessible and affordable, he founded Edurupt in 2020.

THE SERVICE PORTFOLIO

Edurupt specialises in creating courses in the Digital Hybrid Cohort Model (DHC). 

“We believe that DHC Model is the future of education and contains three major pillars- Digital Content, Live Online Classes and Cohort of Classmates,” explains Jaison. 

Edurupt’s digital modules include video lectures with powerful animations, and online exercises & quizzes. The hybrid model ensures that concepts are covered in a flexible digital format. Live online classes and Q&A sessions are conducted at regular intervals for the students so that they can interact with educators and experts directly and receive their feedback.

OVERCOMING THE CHALLENGES THAT COME ITS WAY

Digital education or technological methods in education is experiencing slow adoption by the existing systems. The major challenge for Edurupt is to promote the Digital Hybrid Cohort Model along with the existing educational infrastructure. 

“Delivering effective and valuable education services at a large scale is challenging, but the DHC Model is the way to make this happen. For example, Edurupt’s German A1 DHC Course is the first of its kind in the world and is offered at a fraction of the market average price without compromising effectiveness and quality,” says Jaison with affirmation.
