Ashneer Grover and Ghazal Alagh will not be a part of Shark Tank India Season 2
The premiere date of Season 2 is out. The show will be back on Television screens on January 2, 2023.

Shark Tank India Season 2 is back and all are going crazy. The entrepreneurship-based reality show witnessed tremendous success and popularity despite many doubting the show. Shark Tank India takes its inspiration from an American Reality Show Shark Tank aired by ABC.

Many doubted the show but it garnered substantial TRP for Sony Entertainment Television and became a super hit show. And now that the promo of the show is out, people can’t wait to watch it. Shark Tank Season 2 will not have Ghazal Alagh (Co-Founder of Mamaearth) and Ashneer Grover (Co-Founder of Fintech platform BharatPe)

Who is Amit Jain, the new shark?

Amit Jain is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and co-founder of CarDekho, one of India’s biggest automotive solutions providers. He has replaced the former BharatPe founder Ashneer Grover.

Amit established CarDekho in 2008 along with his brother Anurag Jain in Jaipur. In 2013, the company received funding from Sequoia Capital, an American-based company.

Today, CarDekho has expanded in 30+ countries globally through its auto and non-auto solution businesses.

Shark Tank Release Date

The first episode of the second season of Shark Tank India will return to television screens on 2nd January 2023.

Why Ashneer Grover Will Not Be A Part of The Show?

Ashneer Grover who became famous for his blunt replies at the show will not be seen in Season 2. He and his family were using the BharatPe funds in an inappropriate manner. An audio of him went viral in which he was heard abusing an employee of Kotak Mahindra Bank for failing to secure funds to buy shares during Nykaa’s IPO. This led to massive backlash from the public.

It seems that Shark Tank Team has decided not to involve in any kind of controversy. The promo aired on November 1, 2022, shows five old sharks – Anupam Mittal, Aman Gupta, Vineeta Singh, Namita Thapar & Peyush Bansal and a new shark, Amit Jain.

A user wrote, “We want ashneeeerrrrrrrr…. Sony yeh sab dogla pan hain..mein abhi tumhara doglapana nikal ti hoon…. Ashneeerrr ko laaaooooo”

Another wrote, “Sony- kya kar Raha hai yar tu? Ashneer kaha hai ?”

The Host of the show

Rannvijay Singha hosted the first season of the show. However, this time stand-up comedian Rahul Dua will be the host, Hence, we all can expect more fun and entertainment. It’s going to be much more interesting this time.
