Our aim is to create a brand that online sellers use for anything and everything related to logistics. The company’s goal is to help become growth drivers to their sellers and not just logistics service providers.” – Rhitiman Majumder (Co-founder and CEO, Pickrr)

Logistics has never been easy in India but many logistics companies are making shipping and logistics the most simple and seamless for every Indian business. Pickrr is one of them. It is India’s number 1 exponentially growing end-to-end logistics and technology startup that acts as a courier aggregator and gives access to all leading courier providers in India. It was founded in 2015 by IIT and ISB Alumni with strong entrepreneurial backgrounds and deep domain expertise. Pickrr was founded by Ankit Kaushik, Gaurav Mangla and Rhitiman Majumder.

Its pioneer SaaS platform acts as a virtual logistics arm for its clients and recommends the most reliable and efficient delivery platform that is capable of taking care of all the hassles right from picking up any product to delivering it to the desired destination. Pickrr observes the best safety practices and ensures that all the orders are delivered securely. It has partnered with carriers who have a specialization in handling dispatches of all nature to ensure zero damage during transit. However, if there occurs a rare case of unfulfilled deliveries, the company provides claims up to the agreed claim amount.

Pickrr’s automated solutions let sellers integrate consistently with their online shops on Shopify, Woocommerce, Amazon, and more than 20 logistics providers directly.

Gaurav Singla, the current Co-founder and CTO of the company used to work in Ironway where he met Ankit Kaushik, the Co-founder, and COO of Pickrr. Rhitiman Majumder, Co-founder, and CEO also used to be a manager in Ironway. After leaving Ironway, Gaurav and Ankit founded a company dealing with hiring but they sold the idea and came to Delhi where they met Rhitiman and decided to start Pickrr as a pick-pack delivery service. Initially, Pickrr existed as a hyperlocal delivery model but the focus was later shifted towards sellers- SME and MSMEs. After that, Pickrr never looked back and is constantly growing at a fast pace.

Ankit handles the operations and logistics part, Rithiman looks towards business, sales, and finance part while Gaurav focuses on the product part. The company’s operation mainly started in Delhi, Gurgaon, and Noida, and then it expanded to Jaipur, Bangalore, and Mumbai. The company is planning to grow more in the coming years.

Pickrr faced a lot of challenges in the initial phases. When it was launched, in one to two months, it partnered with 1mg, India’s one of the largest pharmacy networks. Pickrr did not have a license for distributing medicines and it was realized after delivering 10,000 packets. So, it faced a lot of problems and even ended up losing money because of unawareness. But Pickrr somehow managed to overcome each challenge it faced and now is becoming one of the most successful logistics companies in India.

The future plan of Pickrr is to get into warehousing, product sales, from B2B to B2C, and international shipments. The future of the company looks promising as the company is dependent on utilizing the economies of scale and believes in replicating and learning to the fullest.

Undoubtedly, Since 2015, Pickrr has passionately evolved as a committed logistics company. It is contributing a lot to making logistics a hassle-free process in India.
