Usha Mittal Institute of Technology celebrated its 23rd annual cultural fest Arcane Illusions 2023, located in the SNDT Juhu campus. It is the only all-women’s engineering college in Mumbai.

The college celebrated young talents with power-packed and dazzling events like Fashion Show, Inter Dance Competition, Talent Hunt and a newer addition Intra Dance Competition. The event experienced the best artists from the industry in the judging panel.

Judges for the Fashion Show this year were:

Rohit K Verma

At every step of his fashion career, right from haute couture to Pret and then into corporate gifting, Rohit Verma has surprised his fans and mesmerised them with his amazingly beautiful and intricate offerings. Rohit began by showcasing his collections in Mumbai and in a very short span, be it Socialites or Sports Personalities, high profile Politicians or Film Celebrities; the word spread and soon Rohit, not only showcased at Fashion Weeks in India but, the time had come for Rohit Verma to adorn the world with his creations.

Kashika Kapoor

She is a well-known Indian actress, model, media face and influencer. She is famously known in the country for her music videos. She is a multi-talented actress.

Ayeesha S Aiman

Former Miss India International Ayeesha S Aiman, also an aeronautical engineer, represented India proudly at Miss International in 2015. Ayeesha also holds the title of Asia Star Model 2017. She was also seen in TV Series, Inspector Avinash and another action thriller drama Ak47.

Aditya Sheoran

He has just graduated as a computer engineer and has been working as a fashion model for a year. He worked for brands like Reliance Trends, Puma, and Fossil watches. He has also worked with renowned actor Siddharth Malhotra.

Fardeen Mustafa

He is the winner of MR Maharashtra University 2021 and MR India University 2022. He is working as a professional model for 1 year.

Judges for Intra Dance Competition were:

Sukanya Kalyan

She is a trained Kathak dancer and has participated in and won various dance reality shows. She has been awarded the best actress debut at the Ambernath film festival for her film ‘Kalakendra’. Her film ’14 years’ was also shortlisted for Dada Saheb Phalke International Film Festival.

Sourav Sharma

He is a professional videographer and editor at Nritya Shakti. Being a professional dancer, he knows exactly what content Nritya Shakti needs. Additionally, he is also a model and filmmaker.

Judges for Inter Dance and Talent Hunt were:

X1X Crew

The Crew has performed internationally at Britians Got Talent, Hunarbaaz, India Hip-Hop dance championship, dance plus season 2 and many more. They had also done assistant choreography in the ‘Thugs of Hindustan’ movie.

Firoz Sir

He is the first contemporary dance Winner in India. He was among the top 8 contestants in the D4 Dance show. Apart from this, he is a wonderful choreographer and a diploma trainer at V company, Assistant of Dharmesh sir team RnP.

Ruma Sharma

She is an actress, well known for ‘Kaisi hai Yariyaan’ and the G film. She is a model turned actress.

They all graced the occasion on 18th March 2023.

Arcane Illusions 2023 was an extravaganza with the most talented and renowned people from the industry.
