There is a very famous saying by Mahatma Gandhi, “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others”. Making this statement true, Chinu Kwatra is a social hero who inspires millions of people to make Earth a better place to live. With a kind heart and a smile on his face, Chinu along with his young team of the Khushiyaan Foundation and the strong backing of Ananta is serving humanity to empower society.
With no plans of walking on the path of social welfare, it was his mother who inspired him to serve humanity and help those in need. Chinu says, “My greatest source of inspiration is my mother, she is a supermom. And I am proud to say that I am the son of the strongest woman.”
Apart from her mother, he takes inspiration from the business tycoon, Mr Ratan Tata. Chinu believes that anyone can make money but the nature and gratitude that Mr Tata have are what makes him a true human being.
Being a resident of Thane, Chinu’s life took a turning point when he lost his special friend in a terrible accident. After the accident, he went into depression, that was when his mother encouraged him and gave him a ray of hope to live a meaningful life not just only for himself but for others also. It was a life-altering moment for Chinu and since then, he has been on a mission to ‘spread happiness’. Chinu is a marketer and a hotelier. Chinu who always carries a smile on his face says, “My business is my bread and butter but social service is my heart”.
Propagating the mantra of “Insaan Bano”, Chinu Kwatra founded Khushiyaan Foundation, an NGO to bring a change in society with nurturing love and support. The young team of the foundation is its strength. Along with his enthusiastic team, Chinu is working round the clock to spread awareness about menstruation, cleaning beaches and animal welfare, and offering healthy & nutritious food to the underprivileged. Many celebrities are also involved like Sonu Sood, Farah Khan, Guru Randhawa, Maniesh Paul, Raghav Juyal, Suniel Shetty, Raveena Tandon, and many more.

Inspired by Afroz Shah’s beach clean-up drive, Chinu Kwatra has been leading the beach clean drive for 5 years. Chinu and his team removed 2500+ tonnes of garbage from Mumbai’s beaches. The initiative of Beach Warriors is appreciated by many politicians and celebrities including Aaditya Thackeray, Raghav Juyal and Digangana Suryavanshi.
With the vision to eradicate malnutrition and hunger in slum kids, the project Roti Ghar is providing a healthy and nutritious meal to underprivileged people. Along with providing the access to food, the Khusiyaan Foundation educates them about health and hygiene.
M.A.R.D, an acronym for “Menstruation A Right To Discuss” is a campaign started by Chinu in 2017 to spread awareness about menstruation and to break the stigma that prevails in society related to periods. Till now, 14,15,000+ sanitary napkins are distributed under the M.A.R.D campaign.
Home For Paws
It is an initiative that helps ill and abandoned dogs. Providing shelter to the dogs, ill dogs are treated and then sent for adoption by animal-friendly people. This project helps many dogs in treatment and shelter.
Chinu and his team are working for a noble cause to help humanity and inspire others also to be a part of their campaign. Their great deed is getting recognition and appreciation from big personalities and millions of people. Chinu says, “We are grateful to Aaditya Thackeray, who supported us in our beach clean-up drive and became the voice of our campaign ‘Beach Warriors”.
