“Electrification of Transportation is a Marathon – not a 100 mtr dash,” adds Shadab.

In a short period of last 14 months, since he took over, Volt has gained traction & scale to service 50%+ of its current volume via Clean-Energy modes. This allows large MNCs to meet their Carbon Credit goals under their ESG program.

“Volt positions itself on the ‘environment’ axis by addressing the pressing need for sustainable transportation and empowering clients to contribute to a greener future,” says Shadab. For its contribution to society, the company was recognized as the ‘Emerging MSME in Clean Energy Transition,’ at the Govt-Industry Conference 2023. It is also certified by GOI under the ‘Start-up India’ scheme.

Volt provides its services to leading MNCs across India. Its esteemed clientele includes PWC, CRISIL, ICICI, ABG, Cipla, Fedbank, Hitachi, Barclays and other prominent organizations. Volt promises to enable 100 per cent airport transfers through EVs.

Seizing Opportunities in the EV Industry

Annual growth of Volt Mobility

Shadab states, “India has pledged 30% of all new vehicle sales by 2030 to be electric vehicles (EVs) in COP 26-28. Volt is aggressive to surpass the milestone by FY25 itself. The company is committed to accelerating sustainable development.”

Volt is built on the premise of Profit with Purpose. Volt’s byline – ‘Responsible Drive’ emphasises its accountability towards the planet. Looking ahead, Volt aims to significantly scale its operations, targeting a run rate of approximately 15,000 EV duties per month in FY 2025-26, equivalent to roughly 13 lakh EV kilometres per month.

“Volt certainly believes that Purpose & Profits can be Friends,” summarizes Shadab.
